Avian was designed for an avid bird watcher and highlights Colorado birds and spring aspen branches.  A different trio of bird species is shown on each dinner plate, so that no two plates are exactly alike.  All pieces are porcelain  and are made on a potter’s wheel. Rims are unglazed and decorated with black porcelain images. The addition of soda ash creates flashes of orange to green variations. A shiny pale green celadon glaze lines the eating surfaces of each piece. Dishwasher and safe.
