All tableware is made to order from the client’s specifications. Ideally clients come to Kate’s studio-a scenic 11 mile drive west of Boulder into the mountains-to discuss and plan tableware specific to their needs. If distance is an issue, we can work through phone and email-though it is no substitute for actually handling the pieces.  One can also order from the samples on the home page exactly as they are. 

Considerations include:

• Designing tableware specific to how you cook and eat. This helps to determine the size and shape of each piece.
• Side pieces such as serving dishes, platters, pitchers, salt bowls, etc. may be ordered.
• Many glaze colors and unlimited designs and patterns can be explored.
• Although the average place setting is from eight to twelve, four place settings are the minimum.

    Because of the inherent nature of clay, things take time……Please expect 6-12 weeks for an order to be complete.
