Handmade high fired stoneware crocks with food safe glazes are perfect for making nutrient rich, probiotic dense krauts, kimchi, and pickled vegetables. Traditional German water lock lid prevents the entry of contaminants such as dust and fruit flies, yet allows for carbon dioxide gasses to escape during the fermentation process. Thick walls  promote even temperature regulation and a dark environment. Each crock comes with stoneware weights to keep your veggies under the brine. Because these crocks are handmade, each one is unique and slightly different from the next. Your crock will be similar to the photo, but not exactly the same.

medium  2 quarts   6” tall and 7” wide       $160.

large       3 1/2 quarts  8” tall and  9” wide  $190.
